I never had to deal with snakes much up in Maryland, north of DC.....but for some reason, due to swamps.....I have had several snakes around the joint.....

and one got it's head severed by a garden hoe blade, and damn if the body didn't continue convulsing around, and the 6" of head/body managed to disappear into some hole it forged either underground or into a thick garden patch....never found it.....Neighbor been here a lot longer than me said they do that, chop shit out of the snake and that damn head will still bite if at all possible.....weird physiology......

That's a little-known fact about snakes, but it's true. BTW, do you know what the most common reason is for women getting bit by snakes? Walking in grass without watching where you're doing. Stupid women....

The most common reason men get bitten by snakes? Picking up a snake that they think is dead when it's merely sunning itself.
