Came home today to find this in the cellar:

WTF?! What is up with the grass? :willy:

Cats bring in their bounty all the time, but usually, if they want it inside, they will bring it up into the house. Wasn't there 2 days ago and the victims look fresh to me. At least these were brought in dead...

Good kitty!
Bringing you presents, sign of love.

Well, I'd say your cats have some sense of presentation for their dinner plate.

I don't need no presents! Plus, those are usually brought upstairs for us.

Well, I'd say your cats have some sense of presentation for their dinner plate.

That's one way to look at it. I'm pretty sure this is the work of a single culprit.

The grass is a garnishment.

After all, as even cats know, we eat first with our eyes.

A "garnishment"? A garnishment is a legal prceeding to have money withheld from an employee's wages. Do you mean "garnish"?

The head of a rat/mouse was left in our back yard....I found it before wife did, as was the Cardinal/redbird on the back room floor...it WAS alive and lost many feathers in the room from the fight.....still warm....damnit......

and some time previously we/I found a dead rat, but it was not all chopped up, just dead....

Yeah, I got two serial killers living in my house. Squirrels, rabbits, mice, voles, lizards, chipmunks (they are all gone now), and of course birds. Lots of birds.

If you use the 2nd definition, yes.

If you use the 1st definition, my usage of the term stands correct. :seasix:

gar·nish·ment
ˈgärniSHmənt/Submit
noun
1. a decoration or embellishment.
2. LAW
a court order directing that money or property of a third party (usually wages paid by an employer) be seized to satisfy a debt owed by a debtor to a plaintiff creditor.

Too Late!

Poor squirrel. It was not fast enough. Damn kitty, another sport hunter. I can see if he was going to eat his prize catch. But no, he brings it to show off to you. And leaves it to spoil, along with mole and mouse. Waste!

One of our cats killed a rabbit and left the head under the car.

Is it time for today's math quiz for Wendy?

Within one order of magnitude and we'll call it correct.

:slap:

I was told there would be no math.

If it's any consolidation to you, that is a dormouse. We had a squirrel here last year before we brought the cats over that would come up to our terrace which is on top of the garage. Climbed up the house wall and waited for us to provide it with nuts. Which I would find hidden in various planters. :D It didn't stick around when the cats arrived.

Yep, nature comes to you when you have a cat. We have lizards without legs here called blindworms. F'kers are damn good at playing dead.

She's terrified of kids. :funnier:

Our chupacabra acts like a little princess in the house. I'd get a pic, but she is off to prey on unsuspecting victims again.

Good kitty!!!
My two have cleaned up this old farm house and barn with the quickness.
It's rare that we see little critters venture into the cats realm anymore.
When they do though, they end up as little presents by the door, just like yours..:seasix:

A mother cat and 3 kittens showed up next door. The mother killed at least 3 of the moles that the dog could never get.

We don't have a barn, we have nature. No need for them to clean up nature. :D

When we had a ferret and let him roam the backyard, moles stayed clear too. They enjoyed tearing up the neighbors'.:D

No, but their mother was a kleptocat. Brought home all kinds of stuff. One time it was someone's key. :leaving:
