I had this and the entire album recorded on cassette tape. We played it
non-stop while cruising A1A in Daytona Beach, FL. '78. Brother had a new
Cutlass Supreme black/black. Just the hole atmosphere made for great memories
The smell of the ocean, exotic (to us)location near the beach, no worries or
responsibilities, young, etc...this song takes me back.

Love Me Some Girls... I think I saw them in concert around '79 or '78...:seasix: The first time.

'81 Fox Theater Atlanta for me. Still have all my swag from it. They were playing the original Take The A Train over the sound system. Lights went down, curtain went up, then that unforgettable opening riff of Under My Thumb to open the show /smash

I saw that tour at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. Opening acts were George Thorogood and J Geils Band.

Stray Cats in Atl. I kind of liked them and their sound at the time. They were practically booed off the stage. Tough to open for the Stones LOL

Lots of J Geils fans in SF, including me. They used to come there every year, so they were pretty well received. There were sound problems during GT's set, as in the sound kept completely cutting off and back on. I would like to have seen the Stray Cats.
