Scheduled for the 28'th.....

Gotta say....Already uptight about it LOL. Went for my consult this morning, they said that if I react the way I did during the exam (was uncomfortable and moved a bit) they may have to reschedule and put me under...Ummm you were squeezing, shifting pinching my stones how the hell was I supposed to "react"??

any advise from others that went through the procedure? DO I need to buy myself a cone of shame in advance or will they give me one after?

I went through my voice change about 30 years ago, when we found out our son was 'normal'......:seasix: Local shot hurt worse then the surgery, felt a little tugging, that's all.....maybe I took some pills on the way home that afternoon......I posed for that pix in the other thread I started.....

The scrotum will swell, ice it religiously. Schedule on a friday so you don't have to move much for a couple days. Take the meds as written. By Monday I went to work, by Friday I was starting the samples to ensure the procedure was done correctly. It is an amazingly freeing thing for both partners... anytime, anywhere with no worries!

Unfortunately for me the doc said if I "react" the same way I did during the exam they will have to reschedule, I am "sensitive" so I am more worried about that. Although I find it hard to believe that they will be as hard on the plums during the procedure as they were during the exam.

They should give you a mild sedative... they did for me. My surgeon is a gun nut, so we had plenty to talk about "during".

I think the worst part of the actual proceedure was getting a shot in the nuts to numb it up. That hurt like someone baseball batted me in the nuts. After that it was more of a odd feeling where I felt like my nut was twisted, but it wasn't. I just averted my eyes. The smell of cotterizing stuff was horrible. All in all I'm glad I did it. I was down 2 days, bags of frozen peas were sacrificed to my giblets every 4 hours or so. The best part though was the amazing amount of sympathy I got from my wife. I don't think I had to do shit for 3 weeks. :)

My wife actually sat in the room and watched the whole procedure. Oh and last piece of advice... Don't go in the day of your procedure looking all Capn Caveman had sex with a sasquatch down there. Take some time to learn how to manscape.

Already a trimmed guy but they said full on kojak for the procedure, I gotta admit, I'm kinda ascared to put a razor anywhere near my gentleman sausage

I had mine down about 25 years ago. The only problem was about 25% into the operation we found out I had a high resistance to local pain meds.

I had a friend have it done while we were both in the Navy.
The Doc clipped veins vice the tube he was supposed to clip.
So he had to have the procedure done twice. And he even let the same Doc do it.
Just saying. :D

well went to the appointment, got as far as the shot and the first incision and the doctor stopped as I could not tolerate the procedure, even WITH the happy pill they gave me. They had to reschedule for me to be put under so now it is on for Oct 24'th.

He mentioned in the pre-exam a couple of weeks ago that if I reacted the way I was during the exam that this would happen but he decided to give it a go anyway.

I feel like a complete asshole for wasting their time. I knew I should have just insisted on the putting me under in the first place as I know that I am far more "sensitive" than many down there....ugh

36 years ago I had mine done, been shooting air about 30psi ever since. :D

Nah, it's all good except..........stairs, for about the first week. Doc said no stairs, so three days after, I went to work and walked up two flights of stairs, by the time I got to the top, my balls weighed around 40 lbs. Probably as close as I'm ever going to feel what a pregnancy is like, I shoulda listened to the doc. :D

The worst part was seeing smoke rising up from the area from the cauterizing. A few days later and good to go.

when I had mine done, the doc walked into operating room and said to nurses "let's see if I can break my speed record." I told him to go slow. Scared the crap out of me.

Madmikeee
08-29-2014, 1:28pm
When I came out to the waiting room 15 minutes later the wife looked up and said "What are you doing here?, and why are you GRAY?!!?" LMAO.

I seriously thought there was going to be a technicolor yawn if the doc hadn't stopped when he did.
And for you guys that are going to have it done, as I said, I am BADLY sensitive down there, I mean a good strong breeze could put me down if it hit me right so do not take my experience as gospel, 99% of my friends that Have had it done said it wasn't pleasant but it wasn't painful (Except for the shot obviously) I am just the other 1%

HEY I AM THE 1 % FINALLY!!! :D

I'd just as soon get put under anyway. Now if that would mean I have to pay more than $30, I'll go without

Easiest surgery I've ever had. Only took two Vicodin the whole weekend and one was just a precaution. Was out walking the dogs the next morning.

G/f walked in the room after it was done and said I looked higher than a kite. I said "Now you know what I was like in my 20's" She said "Not exactly."

Ouch.
