Blue Thunder Run and Shoot August 23

This is our traditional "Fun Run" with twist! We'll start at a gun range west of Fort Worth where participants will shoot their initial 2 cards on the target range. (handguns only, no black powder) For "non-shooters" there will be an optional event to draw the first 2 cards.

From there we'll make the run across DFW picking up cards along the way, ending up in Grapevine for a few cold ones.

Sign us up, no way are we going to miss this run and shoot. Three Hooter's, firing our .44 and 357 magnum pistols, driving the Corvette, cold beer afterwards, it just doesn't get any better!

Thanks everyone! We had a great time with 20+ participants. The gun range venue was very popular. We had a couple of comments suggesting adding a skeet shooting stop for next year's run. Our sponsors provided lots of giveaways and its no surprise who won the 50/50.:shrug:

Mary, Mary Jr, and I had a great time, thanks to Doug, Jim and the workers at the card stops for putting together a top notch event! Plus, there was a heckuva lot of $$$ raised for the club treasury.
