The Ultimate Bacon Carb Free Bun Burger
Made from a heaping 3 pounds of bacon that has been shaped to perfection in two 4-4.5 inch wide disks are your buns. Grilled over medium heat in a 10in or so baking pan, until most of the fat has seapped out and the “buns” are nicely crisped, note that it may take approximately 30 minutes.
For the burger, I had used 4oz of ground lean beef and seasoned it with salt and pepper. Then placed the burger on the preheated grill and cooked for 5-6 minutes per side for medium (140-150 degrees.)
Remove your burger from the grill, place it on bottom half of the bacon bun and add whatever condiments you like, and the top with the remaining half of the bacon bun.
After enjoy your carb free and gluten free bacon burger!
