Normal meniscus (in this case the lateral one) indicated by the arrow. Notice it is all nice and uniformly black (low signal).

Edematous and probably torn meniscus. All the white stuff is fluid where it shouldn't be. I can't point to the actual tear (crappy open 1.0 tesla magnet) but I foresee a blade in the future.

What are we looking at a cross section of; knee, wrist, elbow, pecker?

Knee. Pecker would be bigger.

Dirt does not always work, sometimes you got to rub a little spit on it too.. :yesnod:

Yours is bigger than mine.

That sounds wrong.

Nope. There is evidence I have a knee.

As a knee surgery "veteran", ( right knee scoped-basic clean up and left knee was a patella graft for my torn in half ACL ) I will highly suggest working the muscle groups in the leg to build up strength before surgery. Makes recovery much faster. :yesnod:

Good luck Val :cert:

edit-- if you already know the above, then take it as an endorsement of how well it works :yesnod:
