View Full Version : I don't get the difference...

As some of you know, six-term U.S. Sen. Thad cochran (R. MS) just won a hard-fought election with Tea Party candidate Chris McDaniel. The margin of victory was about 6,000 votes. McDaniel is now claiming voting irregularities, mainly that Cochran was offering people $15 to vote for him. McDaniel is trying to gather evidence of this by offering people $1,000 to step forward to say that their vote was bought.

Let's see...one candidate says that the other candidate bought votes...but he's offering people money to say their votes were bought. That's surely root out the honest folks....

What prompted this thread is that I just got a phone call offering me that $1,000. I told Lisa, on the other end of the call, that first I'd like to tell her about Amway. She said she wasn't interested. I told Lisa I wasn't interested in the shit she was selling either.

[Mods, I guess this thread can be literally construed as political, but I mean it to be broader than that.]

Thad is a snake.

I'm having a hard time telling the difference between him and McDaniel right now. Election challenges due to voting irregularities are very, very rarely successful. McDaniel is just alienating people by seeming like a sore loser. To admit you have no proof that votes were bought and go on a public campaign to try to buy evidence is just painfully shallow.

Proof Thad is a snake has been established.

Nice try counselor. You know better.

One is accused of paying for votes. The other is offering payment for evidence.
One is illegal. The other is not.

Please don't be blinded because Thad is your friend. He is a snake. His time was overdue. He knew it. He sold his ethics to remain in power.

Snake.

We have had over 1000 voters shown to have broken th Web law by voting in the June 3rd Dem primary and the June 26th Pub run off. At least two long time Dem activists admit talking money from Pubs to get out the Dem vote in the Pub run off and one admitted paying for votes. The evidence shows the laws were broken and it appears it was a joint effort to rob your state of due election process.

To me it sound's like we need to get to the facts and clean up ALL elections.

Thad is a "friend" only because he has helped me in the past. I expect that from any elected official...because that's the platform they always run on. I didn't even vote this election because they're both Conservatives (say what you may, but I'm not interested), and aside from a freshman Senator having no pull for my State, I really didn't care who won. The main reason I didn't care was that Cochran has held the office for 6 terms, and he'll be 86-years-old when this new term ends. That worried me.

Sorry, no politics here on my end. BTW, do you have proof of votes being bought, other than McDaniels accusations? Accusations are just that, and they are expected.

No proof of vote buying.
The proof I spoke of was his snake tactics to get the black dem vote.

The black pastor who claims he was given 16000 to buy black votes?
