My dad was like that a while back...told him all day friday to go to the Doc..nah nah nah..its good its okay...

About 5pm....holy shit, face exploded....he paced for hours in pain...I found a remedy online, you put a teabag on your gum where its infected and hold it there for a while. Surprisingly, it relieved the pressure somehow and after about 45 minutes the swelling had gone down some. NExt day it was managable with Tylenol. Went to the clinic and got some ABotics and by that afternoon it was like nothing ever happened. Hasnt come back since....

Gotta love three day weekends when you need a doc.

I know, right? Of...fukcing...course it hits me on a three day weekend. My standard-issue shitty luck-factor working at full steam as usual.
I had shit planned too.

Tried the teabag, not much luck.
Using leftover oxycodone the doc gave me for my fun little kidney stone (which is still with me by the way). They knocked the edge off, but damn those things make you feel like shit when they wear off.

Not really hurting this morning, mostly just sore from the pressure. Maybe the swelling will wane today.

Surgically removed a wisdom tooth that became impacted such that

The swelling has gone down to about half that now. I'm able to eat something besides soup too. With any luck, this will be gone tomorrow.

Yeah. Swelling has gone down quite a bit. Still can't grin though. Hopefully it'll be cleared up within a day or two.
