I've had enough. Broke a sheer pin on the snow blower yesterday during the first pass. :cuss: Lucky for me my neighbor bought a bag full the night before and gave me one (I couldn't get out to get one myself because the snow was too deep and the end of the street had a gigantic wind row from the plows).
It took me 5 hours to clear my driveway and various paths. The piles are so high that in one area, the snow blower can't throw the snow over the top! its got to be a good 10-12 FEET high! :willy: We're only at the end of January and still have February and March to go! :o_o:

Besides running over a couple of dog toys with the plow and laughing at all the idiots stuck on the road....Non event for me. :seeya:

We have had less than last year, but looking at roofs locally, I'm afraid that a lot of people may have ice dams soon.
Supposed to hit 45* today...

I was one of those unfortunate people who spent 4+ hours on a 30 minute drive Wednesday evening. Got home to a powerless house. Finally got power back yesterday at 5pm.

I was ready to kill some folks on the road on Wed. Including some douche who thought it might be a good idea to take the vette out on a day when snow is predicted. The reason for the majority of the problems around DC was sheer idiocy; people without the equipment or skill to be out on the streets.

People abandoning cars in the lanes of a freeway? YGTBFKM!

Not sure what you mean. Towns don't shut down when there's snow up here. The plows come by and people to go work. It takes a good 2 feet for people to give up and even then we just stay in. We don't go out running around screaming bloody murder like chickens with our heads cut off.

We got about 12" of snow here. I got in my 4wd Suburban and my wife got in her 4wd Jeep Cherokee and we drove to work. ( 18 miles one way )

I cleared the driveway with the snow thrower on my cub cadet after I got home from work. Snow happens in the winter, we just deal with it.

Tonight after work I got out the snow thrower again and made some clear areas on the lawn so the dog can shit somewhere else than the driveway. :lolsmile:

Got roughly 15" here in bergen Co... I was out plowing for about 12-14 yesterday... Starting to run out of places to put the snow. May have to go out with a buddy and use the skid steer and move it around at some accounts! They are saying more snow this week! AHHH nuts! :D
