Standing ovation from the whole crowd and even got one from Simon along with a two thumbs up?

Not bad at all for an 11 year old.. :yesnod:

I see a big future for this talented little girl.

For such a young girl it is amazing how deep her voice is. But she can hit the high notes as well. Impressive to say the least. I wish her all the luck in the world. :seasix: :cert:

Wow. Just wow.

I like those shows - like that guy Paul Potts, the clerk in the cell phone store you buy a phone from could have a massive talent and you'd never know it.

The Filipino people love to sing and/or dance. I've listened to cover bands that had the exact sound as the originals. So, I'm not surprised when I see another person from the Philippines being "discovered".

I found out she was the first runner up in the final.

For some reason she reminds me a bit of Charice, as she was also a talented girl when she was that young.

One more where she really knocks it out perfectly singing the Whitney Houston song "I've got nothing"

I'm impressed... and will probably buy a copy of her first music CD

:iagree:

I heard it was a Filipino that invented karaoke machine, but the Japanese ran with it and made a lot of money.

One thing for sure, they do love to sing, but not all are good..

There ain't nothing worse! than listening to a bad drunk singer, that sings louder the more he drinks, because he thinks he sounds better the more he drinks.. :yesnod:

There was a neighbor in Quezon City, a few years back, that liked to sing Sinatra. Oh man, the guy's voice was similar to a cat in heat. I'd solve that problem by turning on the air con. :D

She is an absolutely amazing singer...no doubt about that. The subject matter of the song, though, is completely inappropiate for her age. I see perhaps fame and riches for her, but....

I didn't trip on it myself, and just appreciate she did a damn good job at singing it.

But see now that some did have issues while I was searching for more of her stuff.

There was an article how some did not think the song was appropriate.

Maybe not the best choice of songs in hindsight, but don't think she or her parents thought anything bad about it.

I see it for what it is, she chose a song she knew she excelled at and went with it.

I tend to agree with you at first blush (as we lawyers say), but her parents/managers need to be more diligent about her/their choices.
