I've ripped the pockets on a bunch of my regular shorts. Stupid drawer handles with an inch of metal at each end sticking out, right at my pocket level.:mad: .

other than the obvious, Cargo shorts are helpful with little kids - it's like a whole new world when i empty my pockets and try to figure out which one of them sneaks threw their trash or toy in the pockets.

I disagree....any pull with ends that extend past the screw studs will catch your pockets is you're moving sideways or backwards like when you're cooking. Like these, or OURS, dammit!

Clarification: use handles/pulls that "loop" and don't extend past screw posts like your pic shows.

When i go to baseball games at turner field i bring in two plastic flasks or glass 5th's. They fit perfectly in my cargo shorts pockets. I then go buy a large coke and chug half of it and then fill the rest up with one of the flasks. Around the 4th inning i repeat with coke number two. With them being plastic or glass if they wand me it doesn't set off the detector. I walk up with my hat off, wallet, keys and cell in hand and they assume my pockets are empty and i breeze through security..


That's the kind of cargo i carry in my cargo shorts..:yesnod: No Bullshit.. :rofl:

Oh and this past weekend i had a pink hello kitty wallet in my cargo short pocket. My 5 year old likes to put her stuff there when we are out running around so she doesn't have to carry it but can reach it relatively easily compared to asking mommy to take stuff in and out of her purse all the time.
