Well, last night I watched my 2003 Millenium Yellow Convertible drive away. I had some mixed emotions watching it leave. I remember my late wife and I driving to La Mesa in San Diego when the Chevy dealer called to say it had arrived, to pick it up. Never thought I'd sell it, until I saw the new C7.

I'm on a waiting list for the Z06, but the fleet manger said there's not much chance of getting one in 2015 due to the limited build numbers, and dealers will probably have a healthy mark up over sticker. So I'll probably be ordering a 2015 w/Z51 package.

Just have to decide on the color. :)

That's tough, congrats on the possible new toy! I highly recommend you wait for the widebody. IF that's what you've set your heart on, you won't be happy if you start seeing wide bodys and one isn't yours.

Now if you can get a z51 this year a z06 next year, go for it!

My C5... Never thought I'd sell it, until I saw the new C7.

exactly the same here. We sold both our C5's in anticipation of owning a C7. Last to sell was Yvonnes 2003 AE vert; I thought she would never part with that car. But she mentioned that after I get my C7 - that she'd be driving it a lot because she really likes the way they look.

She decided shortly afterwards that it would be silly to keep her C5 and rarely drive it.

2015 on order as of May 29th; expect to take delivery at the end of August. It's going to be one helluva wait; Vetteless to boot.

As much as I want a Z06 I cannot wait an entire year. One of our club members has been working with the owner of a long established Chevy dealer, about a group purchase for the 2015 C7's. He has 8 serious buryers. There will be a meeting with all parties at the dealership around Dec. 1, for orders.
Since this will be my last Vette I'm probably going to be in that group.
I still want to see the pricing on the Z tho. :)

I don't need to know the price on the Z06... a discounted base C7 is already at the very top of what we can justify.

If you google 2014 C7 Stingray build your own. You can change the colors of the car the interior, the caliphers etc. It's all in color.

The Laguna Blue Tintcoat with dual red striping red caliphers, chrome wheels, and the 2LT red interior.

The same configuration with the Velocity Yellow My first two chocies.

White, Silver & Black also look great with that combo.

I have seen both the Silver and Blue with the red interior. Looks great. :seasix:

Why so long of a wait? Kerbeck is telling people they can have any car delivered in a few weeks.

MacMulkin's has a huge inventory as well. Both dealerships will ship to your location.
