I'd actually like to know the real story. Dude swung by the house en route from buying a Vette somewhere and we had a good time with dinner and drinks. Think shortly after that he ditched us all. Why? :waiting:

Ehhh...not really. Although that's what most people think. I actually ate as much if not more, just the right kind of foods.

I went on a strict diet and exercise regimen (kinda nice when the your S/O has a degree in food science and is a nutrition coach). 75% of my diet is now fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and lean protien (chicken, fish, minimal red meat). Went from a size 54 to a size 36. I started hiking, playing tennis and golf regularly, weights and attend a fitness bootcamp. Been taken off all cholesterol and BP meds.

Sent 7 Hefty bags full of clothes to the Goodwill. :seasix:

I wear a pants size 40, but that is for the room in the ass when I working, like on the cars or houses....I still somewhat active for age 70 and being 6'5" really my actual briefs are 38's.....I suffer arthritis, so sports/hiking/etc are outta the question for me....I eat ibuprofen like mad, and some prostrate pee pills....I eat just thin sliced sammich meat on toast with a slice of cheese once a day, plus dinner of course....so my intake is limited....

Welcome back Mike and congrats. We gotta know...why'd you get rid of the Lamborghini?

It was a whole "making myself happy on the outside" vs. "making myself happy on the inside" thing. The Lamborghini was a very rough ride. And every time I made a payment, I was like "Why?" There were some parts of my personal life that were a rough ride as well. I went through a lot of self-reflection and while life isn't perfect (it never is), I'd like to think I'm on a much better path.

And yes, my S/O has a good deal to do with it. She said "you're a mess and you'd better get your shit together." Sometimes, it pays to listen. Checking into real life has a lot to do with it as well. This online stuff can be a real time waster, and quite honestly I was damn tired of a lot of the nonsense. There's too much out there to see and experience, and I didn't want my "raison d'etre" to be that I'm an administrator on a car forum.

Right now I'm driving my Durango and I still have my 1994 ZR-1. I also have a 2012 Civic which is a commuter car since I'm quite a distance from my work. I'm sure something else more exciting will come along at some point, but for now I'm really content with what I've got.

Good lord...I almost forgot how to post pics...
