House Teeters on Edge of Crumbling 75-Foot Cliff
WHITNEY, Texas June 11, 2014
A vacant luxury house appears on the verge of tumbling 75 feet into a Central Texas lake because a cliff is collapsing beneath the property.
WFAA-TV in Dallas-Fort Worth reported Wednesday that the 4,000 square-foot-home above Lake Whitney has been condemned and the owners evacuated about two weeks ago.
Hill County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Mark Wilson says another chunk of cliff broke off Tuesday night.
Soil and other debris have been falling from beneath the home at White Bluff Resort, some 60 miles south of Fort Worth. Tax records show the house was built in 2007 and is worth more than $700,000.
A message left with the resort developer wasn't immediately returned Wednesday.

1) Wanna bet the owners of the house protest the tax appraisal on it this year?
2) Bet II: Any takers on whether the insurance company denies coverage for this soon to be total loss?

You borrowed the money. If you walk away from the loan and the property cannot be sold for what you owe, you are still on the hook.
Which brings up a good point.....are there no workhouses? Are there no debtors' prisons? And shit?

The 1999 redux/homage flick to Vincent Price was pretty dope, too.

Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle. Proverbs 23:5
