Flash in the pan...like Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin, Carl Edwards, they are mediocre drivers with moments of brilliance.

The Monaco race was actually pretty interesting to watch this morning. It's been a while since I watched one. It started at 5:00 am here which was ok since I had to get dinner going for tonight. Put a pork butt on the smoker.

The grid girls were smokin' hawtness I love the rivalry between Nico and LH. MB has the season wrapped up just like Red Bull the past few. So the rivalry is really the only thing to watch this season.

Ya, it was a good race. Hamilton, who was running 2nd, had something in his eye for the last 20 laps and still held off Ricciardo who was pushing him hard for the last 10 laps. Hamilton might have caught Rossberg for first if he didn't have that eye issue.
That is one hell of a cool road course.:yesnod:

I think what he meant was that he wants to get his feet under him and be around at the end to have the opportunity to try for the win.

Usually I have a pretty clear cut favorite at Indy. This year is a tough one...

I'd like to see Hildebrand get a second chance. Kurt hasn't shown much so far but I'd like to see a good showing. I've always thought Marco was kind of a douche, but with Kanaan finally getting his, it might finally be time for an Andretti to break through again.

To top it off, Helio is in a tribute to my favorite car... EVER. Rick Mears' '88 PC-17. As a kid, I had a tape of that race and watched it until it was worn out. I've built the model kit of it about a dozen times over the years, had a poster of it on my wall, and still have a picture (among many others) in the garage.

I wonder if they prefer to run that many green laps, as they are in "the zone", or if they like a break every once in a while.

Cautions cause cautions. 3 wide on the restart lap is not good with open wheels.

I guess Bell's spotter didn't feel that him being on the top of 3 wide was important enough to pass along at the time. Really? 2 laps later you hear the quote "Oh, that was 3 wide" from a driver? :skep:

The announcers were hilarious on the last stop. What do you think the team is doing for Kurt Busch? Well... they are probably giving him downforce to add security and confidence.

Seriously, have these guys EVER watched a NASCAR race? Do they REALLY think Kurt Busch is scared of that car?

Clowns. Clowns everywhere.

Two of the best if not The Best of the season for F1 and Indycar. Nascar needs to watch the end of this 500 to see how a race should end. :cert::cert:

Seems to me that the Indy guys took some advice from the NASCR side on that one rather than finishing it with 9 laps of caution like they have in years past.

I was pretty pissed at that shit too. I don't give a shit about the drivers' wives. I want to see racing dammit! Had it not been for my 57" TV I probably couldn't have seen it as it seemed like I was watching the race on a f'king 21" or something in that range. Idiots!
