I went and looked at one today. Stuck in third gear - says the vacuum assist is the problem. 4-door, pass pan rusted out, along with rockers and one body brace. I wouldn't sink a bunch of money into a resto, but it might be fun for something totally different. $2500

Thats when cars were made of steel. Took a real body man to work on those.
Mom and dad had a 39 club coupe. No back seat, just two fold down jump seats. No radio. They bought it new and kept it til '53 when they bought a Ford. Dad was less than thrilled with the Ford.

My dad had a '38 Chevrolet coupe. He said the front end and suspension on those cars were "dangerous". I don't know the details, or if the '41 is the same, but it might be worth looking into.:yesnod:
Could make a cool weekend driver.:seasix:
From the year of my birth! I'd love to have a '41 someday...

Looks stock and fairly complete on the interior too. Car's had character back then.

I would paint it green and make it look like an Army staff car from WWII. You could spend all day at car shows telling lies about it, which is what car shows are for. You could tell people Eisenhower used to bang his secretary/girlfriend in the back seat.:yesnod:

Man...that'd be the perfect companion for my '46 pickup. Love these old rides!
