VICTORY IS MINE, BIOTCHES!!!!!!!!!! Today was very productive. These are the kidney stones I passed today. It's been two week ordeal. One pic has a penny under the bottom of the jar so you can get an idea of the size. Guys, click on these mofos and check 'em out, and then think about where they came from.

Awesome!!

There are few things in life that are more happy occasions. I speak from personal experience, unfortunately.

Started out as one large one stuck in my right ureter tube. I had the sonic surgery Thursday before last to break it into pieces I could pass.

I did a urine study a few years ago. I was told my biggest issue was I don't have a high enough intake of liquids. I will take these to my appt. this week. What is on your mind?

Wow. BTDT. really sucks.

My last one was never going to come out. They had to go in and get it. The hard way. Never again. Just kill me.

Go find a good Urologist. A urine study is only part of the picture needed in solving the problem.

Keep the stones you just passed in a sanitary container. A clean, unused pill bottle is good.

Have your urologist send them off for analysis. He'll order another urine study. Then after determining the type of stones your body is making he will give you a list of things to do and things not to do.

My stones went from two to three per year to one in a four year interval that I passed easily in just a couple of hours. He also gave me a Rx stash of pain meds and Flomax, which I keep in my gun safe so I can try to pass them without going to the ER (I don't have any insurance).

I don't follow the guidelines 100% but I do about 90%. If I have another stone I might start following all of them.

I have calcium oxalate stones. I drink enough water to produce 70 oz of urine daily. I also take Mg with chelated Zn, vitamin B6 every day. There are a list of food items to use sparingly and some to seek after. But these guidelines won't do you any good if you have one of the other types of stones.

It's up to you, but I think having a good game plan and following it is a lot easier and infinitely less painful than just saying "well, I should drink more water but I don't" which is what it sounds like you are doing.

I do have a urologist. I have them stored and will be turning them over to him at my next visit.
