Putting my Z06 back together. For some reason this hose never got labeled. :slap:

That's a damn good question :popcorns:

Looks like it routes straight down to a fitting underneath. I'm looking for better pics... brake cylinder perhaps?

Found a great post on Z06 Vette that points to that hose.

Found a hose hanging under the car last week. I tugged at it and it broke off where it had been rubbing on the road. I took it in to the dealer and they traced it back to the valve shown in the picture. Since they replaced the hose and reattached it to the elbow, the smell in my cabin has gone away. The hose disconnected just under the driver side fuel rail cover.
Picture won't load but is cached in Google search:

All of those connections are made. Still can't find where to plug in the hose in question.

At this point, what difference does it make?

If you can put it together with less parts you improved on the design

Marcus was correct. It connects to the back of the intake manifold, next to where the brake booster cable goes.

The coolant temperature sensor from the driver's side head is missing. Chad looking on his end, but I don't think the part is that expensive. Will check with my sponsor tomorrow. Once that's in, I can put the coolant and oil in and fire it up. Just about done...fingers crossed. :hurray:

Mark me down as relieved that Datawiz found a place for his hose before Knooger could respond.

He's in da house.
Close enough for all practical purposes.
I'd watch my six if I were you.

That's easy; in the trunk until the hole is dug. :leaving:
