Heck, go back to the guillotine. It's the only way to be sure.
Have no problem with that. :seasix:

Firing squad? It only takes one bullet from a guy behind the POS. Save the ammo for the rest of us. :D
However, the guillotine does make for a good show. :leaving:

Don't all but 1-3 have blanks?
I think drawn and quartered would make for a better show

Only one has blanks. Although even that has been questioned in former executions.

Ive been wanting this for years. But we need public hangings.
Nothing puts the fear in people like when they see their compadre dangling from a rope for theft...

I didn't read the article, but Utah was doing firing squad executions into the 1980's or 1990's. I believe they actually gave the inmate a choice in the method of execution...
They used Winchester 30-30's I believe. :yesnod:

Ok, I read the article. The opposition to it quoted some newspaper article from 1867 about somebody getting executed by firing squad in which it took them 27 minutes to die. Well, they were probably using Cap 'n Ball shit, or early cartridge pistols/rifles and that stuff isn't as high velocity of a modern smokeless powder cartridges.
Regardless, who cares if they have pain or they suffer. You are sentenced to die, as long as the result is successful, no harm no foul imo. What about the victims pain and suffering?
Tie 'em to a post and shoot the mother fukers, it ain't rocket science.
Hanging or a bullet to the back of the head.

Or give them a sporting chance, ala The Hunger Games.
Now that I would watch, and even pay to participate in, as a hunter , of course.

I'd be willing to be a decoy hunter of sorts, where I'd chase them around with a big Dirty Harry style revolver until I'd chased them into a corner, and then say something like Samuel L. Jackson would say in the film Pulp Fiction just before he ices someone, and then pull the trigger and a little white flag pops out and unrolls and it says BANG in big black letters and the guy gets mad and runs off but he's still kind of scared still.
