I'm too old to tackle large forests anymore. This is in between a hatchet and a full, sizes axe.

I get that a lot. :D

I was checking them out about a month ago and had one in the cart, torn between the Shrike and the Berserker. I have a couple of hawks and decided I didn't need another.

I'm not sure I'm settled on that...

If I had the need to split firewood, I'd pick one of these things up.

I bought one of those back in the late 60s and it’s still going strong. Lost the sheath decades ago. I needed a good hatchet and as I already had a good framing hammer by that company I bought the chopper.
(Think I paid about $7 then:lol:)

From the catalog. Mrs. and I needed to have our landscape areas refreshed and had a lawn service bid $3000+ to mulch. I have a front loader, found a supply of mulch and the two of us put out 45 yds. of mulch! With the $$ saved, I'm having an old deck taken out and stamped concrete put in. The fire pit will go on the new deck when it's done.
