Either online or in the Pensacola/Mobile area.

I'm tired of paying several hundred for a cover. Even the expensive ones don't seem to last more than about three years.

They can be mass produced far cheaper than they can be built one-off.

What you might want to try is to buy the mass produced one, then have a local upholsterer make a simple vinyl cover to go over that one to protect it from the elements. Literally a cover for your cover. It will make it last a lot longer. Make it out of a light color to reflect the sun's rays.

Wait for another hurricane (won't be long) and get some free roof tarp. You do like blue, don't you?

Cost me $400 for my replacement from Beachcomber. I happened to see this ad flash across on Facebook the other day, but I don't know anything about them: Hot Tub Covers & Spa Supplies | Cover Lifters & Hot Tub Filters - The Cover Guy (http://www.thecoverguy.com/) Might be worth checking out.

Hey, hey.....HEY now! If you're gonna talk about floor mats, take that stuff to C-6 gen, where it belongs.

Question about those hot tub cover covers.

http://www.thecoverguy.com/hot-tub-cover/web_image/Hot-Tub-Cover-Cap-lrg.jpg

Do they open and close in place along with the cover, when the cover is mounted on one of those metal cover lifters, or do you have to go around the tub and try to put it on and off like a fitted sheet on a king size mattress?

'Cause if that's the case, imma just replace the darned thing every three years or so. I ain't horsin' around the hot tub drunk, nekkid, and barefoot with cottonmouth snakes runnin' all over the place. :ack:
