Funny, the timing of this thread. I actually WAS out walking in the hood today with a machete. I was bidding a ROW clearing job, and the only way through the trees and brush was to hack my way through.

I'm sure on my way to and from the truck, I was an odd sight, a white boy in the hood, brandishing a machete.

I have 2. The one that looks meaner doesn't work as well. The standard Ontario 18" gets the job done.

Saw a guy in Jamaica getting chased by a guy with a machete.

Went there maybe 20 years ago. Stayed at the newly renovated Playboy resort called Boscobel Beach at the time. One day we were laying out on the beach fairly close to the fence surrounding the property. These two rasta type dudes start calling at us. "Hey Mon, you want some ganja?" I said no. They replied"hey Mon, you want a woman?". I pointed to Becka who was right beside me and said no thanks I already have a woman. They replied "No problem Mon, we can get you a white woman". Needless to say, Becka was not amused :dance:
