Yeah, I'm jsut finding out about it from the people I was with. I guess somebody bet me $100.00 that I wouldn't do it so I, very drunk apparently, did it when the Triple dog dare was thrown out.

Luckily it was some place I had never been to before and will never go back to again.

But hey, at least I don't remember losing the last shred of dignity I had and I didn't get arrested so, meh.... it's all good.

I don't think I can. The band is working hard to get out for our first gig in a couple of weeks so we've been throwing in extra practices on Saturdays and Sundays since I had to switch to playing bass.

I think I'm also going to give AA an honest try this time and take up a friends and his wife's offer to go with them to meetings.

Needless to say, i stayed in last night and I'm not going out this weekend for anything but band practice. it's time for a change after hearing that i did that. Guess it was the straw that broke the camels back so to speak.

Nah. I filled my gas tank(s) in the vette and will use the rest for lunch at work for the next two weeks.

And LATB, yes, you are right. I am finally willing to admit things are beyond my control and i need help. I've done AA a couple of times in the past but didn't take it seriously because I didn't really care, thought it was a joke, and refused to admit a problem. i see it much different now after seeing some of my friends who were just as bad as me go through it the past few months and they're doing much better physically, mentally, and financially. I'm worried more about the physical and mental part now since I have looked int he mirror and realized some of the problems my habits have caused for me and others.
