How about another example. The group of motorcycle riders that blocked the SUV owner in and ended up following and beating him very badly.

Several of them got hurt as the SUV driver tried to flee the area. The put themselves in a position to get hurt and that's exactly what happened.

Same concept with these critical mass morons. The put themselves in a position to get hurt, they did. Not agreeing that they car should have targeted them, but the bottom line, they caused the situation.

Motorcycle Gang vs Suv = Self Defense
Ted Kennedy Car Crash = DWI, Possibly involuntary manslaughter, but was not.

Car barreling through bicycles = Voluntary Manslaughter & Attempted Manslaughter

Since when in anyone's world can you compare voluntary manslaughter and attempted manslaughter to either of the others.

Joking about running them down is one thing, they irritate the shit out of everyone who has had to deal with them. And they do put themselves and everyone else at risk.

You should see what Defib witnesses on a daily basis. As a Paramedic, he sees the aftermath of what others do to each other. So, I give him a little latitude to a warped since of humor. Sometimes you need it to cope.

Guess we will chalk this one up to as a not as funny and too soon!

What about the bicyclists who want to "share the road" but only want to follow the rules THEY want? They seem to ignore stop signs and seem to enjoy holding up traffic.

A "few" assholes on bicycles have ruined it for the ones who actually follow the rules of the road.
