I don't think it would look bad, I'm just a fan of the less is more approach.
The right wheels and a few small accents make it righteous for my taste.
My C5 looks completely stock except for the '06 wheels and GHL exhaust which is very close to stock.
Now I'm trying to find a better grill for the Yukon Denali.... Damn things all look retarded. :shots:

Gray on gray would probably look good. Kind of two tone...subtle. :seasix:

Too busy with the 5.0 or any other emblem below them. But...I would peel the 5.0 or other emblem off and put the hash marks on instead.

I agree 100%.. I'm not sure if there are holes in the fenders for the 5.0 badges or if they are on there with an adhesive. Some cars have holes and some are stuck on. I'll have to look into that.

I think just the hash marks without the 302 in them if the 5.0 badge was removed. I think they are held on with an adhesive, but there is a hole(s) behind the badge for alignment.

Some have em, some don't. I looked into it a while back.. Never messed with mine to see if it did or didn't..

Too many Mustangs out there with stripes already. And yes, there are two holes behind the 5.0.

11 and 12 GT/CS's don't have the emblem as they have the stripe. I read a while back some of the fenders for those cars made it onto the GT's. The vast majority of the normal GT's do tend to have the the fenders with the hole in them for the guide pin on the emblem though.

Ironically, that exact car is sitting at my local dealership right now.
As for the 2 holes, I know for sure that you have 2 on each side because I de-badged mine a couple of months ago. It cost me about $285 to pull the 5.0's off, sand the body down to the metal, weld in the holes and then feather in the new paint.

In that case covering the holes with a small horse emblem I think could make the whole 302 thing work well. Gotta love car art and expression. :cert:

The six bangers came with the traditional horse emblem in the same spot as the 5.0. I'd be willing to bet the holes are in the same place and you could just swap them out.
