I'm going to go with that white Elmer's glue. The one with the orange cap and that weird-looking animal's head on the bottle.
I never really did figure out what that creature was. Was it a bull? A goat? Probably it was some normal animal that got into a glue-eating session that got a little bit messy, right before its photo shoot for the marketing portrait. At least that would explain the odd expression it had on its face.

It's not the taste that's important. It's the aroma.

Eat enough of it, fast enough, and it's the colon blockage. :yesnod:

A close runner-up was also an Elmer's brand (I think).
It was also white, but it was more of a paste and came with an orange colored paddle scoop/applicator.
It wasn't as good as the other more liquid version, but it was actually spreadable. Better for crackers, and for use as an appetizer for parties.

I would have to go with melted Hershey's chocolate - tastes great and smells wonderful!

Elmer's glue and paste are still favorites with kindergarteners and first graders at my school. Teachers like the glue sticks. Did you ever cover you hand in Elmer's glue, let it dry and then try to peel it off without breaking it?

Anyone remember the colored magic markers that were scented and flavored? The blue was blueberry, the red was cherry, etc.
And the teachers couldn't figure out why we kids kept licking them
:funny:
Glue is for pussies. JB Weld is a mans glue meal.

Model glue FTW! :hurray:
Speaking of Elmers - When I was 8, my mother did something that pissed me off (can't remember exactly what it was). I was laying on my bed and started kicking my feet. Well, one well placed heel and now the drywall had a nice heel mark in it. In my infinite wisdom (:funny:), I decided that I could use Elmer's glue to cover over the cracks that were in the wall and the old man would never notice when he got home. To my dismay, white Elmer's glue does not dry white, but rather transparent. Being the big dummy that I was, I continued to keep putting the Elmer's glue over the cracks. Didn't work. My dad must have been in a good mood that day 'cause I didn't get taken out to the wood shed. :hurray:

My Grandmother was a teacher for years. After I got out of school for the day I'd go to her school & help her with prep for the next day. Always enjoyed making those copies for her. :yesnod:
