I have a colonoscopy in the morning.
I just began drinking the prep.
At my wife's suggestion.........I'm going to weigh myself before and after.
I'm 6'4" and just weighed in at 223.8.
I formerly weighed around 248, but unchecked diabetes allowed me to drop 30 lbs, fast.
I've had nothing whatsoever to eat since last night
Just got the first glass down.
Tastes like citrus with a lotta salt.
I wanted to mix it half and half with Gin, by my longsuffering wife said ummm

I'm not trying to tell you what to do, just realating my experience. I've had 3 colonoscipes. The first time I drank the full 64 ounces, and it about killed me. The next time I drank a little more than half of it. After the procedure I asked the Doc if my bowels were clean. He gave a resounding, "Yes!". The 3rd time they added laxative pills to the regimen, in addition to the liquid. I ignored the pills, drank half the liquid, and again I was perfectly clean.

All I'm saying is that I think the regimen is overkill.
