1. It f@ck'in blew..
2. Half the class needed to be donkey punched (yes some of the guys and no not by me) for their interpretation of the rules of the road.
3. Spending 7 hours of my life in this course is enough to deter me from speeding in the near future.
4. People in the DUI class across the way come from ALL walks of life. I'm talking $70k cars parked next to $700 cars in the lot..:yesnod:

Did you have to attend, or did you do it for insurance and/or driving record reasons?

Clean record going back 8+ years. Got a ticket. I offered to take it to solicitor to reduce the infraction after he verified my record was clean. He agreed..

Not court ordered but it will help me significantly with this ticket. So much so it won't appear as a moving violation..

Sounds like my most recent trip to the DMV to register my new car - I remembered why I renew everything I can on-line :)

Last trip to the BMV here resulted in a phone number, they can't help you locally. You have to call Indy to get help or go online. They used to give you plates locally, now you wait for the plates to be mailed from Indianapolis, WTF! Our great tax dollars.

Truly you are a menace to society. Guy should have cut up your license right there, on the side of the road. Thank God we have brave heros like that trooper to protect us good citizens from the likes of you.

No, seriously, that's chicken shit. Really. Glad the judge thought so too.

Wait. They have defensive driving classes in the PI? I didn't know they even issued licenses.

I did my last one online which was handy because I broke it up into segments as my time allowed. It was informative, actually. In Cali, you can knock a point off your record every 18 months if it is clean to start with. So basically you can get a ticket twice every three years... or if not, you can delay it several times until such time as you are eligible. Bit of a game really.

I got pulled over for hot-rodding my 91 ZR last Thursday and the Deputy was so riled about it he was threatening me with a reckless driving charge (because he had no radar, pace, or speed estimation of any kind). Basically my loud ass exhaust system betrayed me...That and the culture here for over-writing speeding tickets seems to be a thing of the past and speed enforcement is lax once off the freeways...I got off again.. Even I'm surprised.

I was talking about back in the day when I lived in the land of the taxed... :D

Your right about here.. :yesnod: On my island there isn't even a place to get a drivers license if you wanted one.

But down in the City, there are plenty of those guys like in your photo lower left corner in the blue..

They have a whistle and when they blow it... you are suppose to pull over and stop...

By the way that pic looks almost exactly like Fuente Circle in Cebu City, but its not...

It would make a great oval track if it wern't for all the incoming roads and traffic...

I've taken DD classes 9 different times. For a while in Texas they had comedy defensive driving. It was much more tolerable.

The comedy one isn't bad.

I prefer the online one, though...I can do other things while taking it. :)

I used to take defensive driving 'till I got fed up with the whole thing and started taking everything to jury trial.
