Monday morning I found a dead doe next to my house. It was pretty beat up and I assume it was hit by a car and picked my place to roll craps.I call the town to come pick it up and find out they will need a release from my 3 neighbors to come up a private rd(WTF)

So,I hook it up to my car and drag it out to the main rd.I call the town again(Hoping to get someone else) and say there in a dead deer at the corner of my road and the main rd and will they come and pick it up.

No that's a state road you'll have to call the state DPW(WTF)after getting transfered to every phone in the state I get a guy who says "Thats the eastern district you need to call the western district.

I call the western district and finally get a nice person who says I'll put in a pickup order and we will be there in 3 days....It's still there. On the good side if we get anymore snow the plow will push it way down the road.......:)

There are a lot of deer around here, but the dead ones I see always have a huge hole blown out of the ass from decomp, with maggots all over. But if that's what turns you on, go for it

Y'all have someone that picks up dead deer? Cool!

There was a dead deer on the side of the road on my way to work one morning. I get to the school, answer a phone call and it's some woman telling me "we" (the school) needed to move that deer because her kid saw it and it upset her. I told her that was a public road and she could call whoever she wanted to come get it. It was still there when I went home. Idiots!

I found one under my deck once and the county told me they don't pick up dead animals on private property. I dragged it into the nearby woods and left it for nature to take it's course. Coyotes and hawks gotta eat, too.

When a squirrel dies in my pool, I put it in a bag and drive it to the gas station. While I pretend to fill up, I put it in their trash at the pump.

Your situation will require a bit more effort, but, you get the idea.

Cutting it up to stuff in grocery bags is going to get messy:leaving:

You do what ya gotta do...

He could also dump it in a mall parking lot; they'd put it in a dumpster.

Just bury it. You can leave the legs out of the hole if you want.

That was the funniest pic for a long time

Throw it in the passenger seat and ride in the HOV lanes. If anyone stops you, tell them you're taking a deer friend on one last ride.

When my wife was a young girl, her parent's would tell her that the animal there on the side of the road was "just resting." She became suspicious eventually.

If you have ever traveled I-80 through Northern PA in November, you know that you can barely drive a quarter mile without seeing the remains of a Bambi that met the wrong end of a Peterbuilt

Now that the snow is melting, the dead contorted carcasses are showing up on the roadsides everywhere. The plows must have a real heyday spanking those things.
Broken legs pointing in all directions, broken necks and backs..... It's pretty gruesome but cool looking at the same time.

Yes we do know what to do with road kill. One call to the PA State Game Commission gets you a road kill permit ( you can legally take the deer at no cost ). However when the end up as deer smear or rolled up burger in a bag, it isn't fit to eat. :sadangel:

Most of it isn't fit for dog food.
