Seems they were trying to kill that one off. That was the least delicate of all of the saves so far.

I figured they set it back down to shorten the sling length and gain available lift height, but the sling arrangement in the second lift didn't appear to be much shorter? :dunno:

You get a really good view of the anti-wet noodle cross brace on the bottom.

Looks like they went from a one point loop over a wheel hookup to pick it from the deep...then a better 2 point loops through the wheels hookup and a guide line, after setting her down mid way.

I didn't have audio on. I'm thinking maybe they wanted a better hookup once they could. And also maybe better to set her down w/ a two point hookup.

Speculation on my part. But fun to watch.

It's amazing how stout those bolts holding the wheels to their hubs and output half-shafts are.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm quite surprised that they decided to do it that way. I would have thought that they would hook up to the frame for these extractions. What they did worked though. This time. :D

If nothing else, it's significant because it's one of the last of the wild, free-range, running Delco-Bose Gold Series radios that still works according to its O.E.M. specs. :D

My question is how deep are some of the remaining 3 cars? The way that one dropped definitely indicates it was not at the bottom of the hole where it was resting

Let's just say there are 3 very happy people in China right about now.
