Heard that countless times, and when in skool and so forth, I smoked 2.5 packs/DAY, Camel shorts unfiltered.....shit, I even smoked in the SHOWER and I shit you not...put the butt on top of the shower door, and took several drags while showering.....

I quit long about end of '66, when the budding budget fell short of supplying car, GTO, and beer, something has to go, and they were getting bitchy over the effects then, and so upon looking at my stained fingers and stinky clothing, and some chick complained.....I dumped the smokes......never had a slight instinct to go back, except when living with my cousin, during the first divorce for a few months....he smoked, so I picked up the habit again, but upon moving out, same shit.....not in the budget, burgers and beer before smokes....every damn time......dated a gal that smoked, that was near top of the list as to why my ass dumper her ass.....

Its really funny too, In my dreams I suddenly realize I am smoking and immediately think to myself, 'Man, Kathleen is going to kill me because I started smoking again!'. I am actually very relieved when I wake up. In my dream I can actually taste the smoke in my mouth.

HONESTLY, dead seriously.....I had more hit off the beer than the pot...

That is the way it goes, I guess.....

but NOW, about 1/2 a life later, I can't stand smoke of any kind, and even with all the cars/diesels/traffic/and painting/cleaning shit....it's ok.....

just wish winter would effing GO AWAY!!!!
