For Christmas our daughter gave us tickets to see Kathy Griffin at a theater in Napa. That was on Saturday night. We went down to Napa in the afternoon, found a nice little motel one block from the theater, and walked around exploring the bars and restaurants. Fantastic food, as expected, and a nice little bar with a great gin selection. Very pricey, though. I had the greatest $14 Martini I've ever had.:D After the show I had a brisket sandwich that made my gall bladder know who was boss.
The show was great, we are big KG fans and she was very funny. Not too political, she mainly dished on other celebs, especially Justin Bieber. She was on stage for almost two hours.
Sunday we drove another 50 miles south to visit our grandson and his fiancé and they cooked us a great BBQ rib dinner. The only bad thing was it rained like hell all weekend until this morning, but we California residents aren't going to complain about that at this point. Some areas around here got over 10 inches of rain, which still doesn't end the drought, but it's a good start.
