Nice job.
Post a video of how you do it. I'd like to see that.
I'm not a ring wearer, but those Texas ones are pretty cool.

This website shows it well. I use the same basic tools. Takes about an hour for each one.

those are bad ass Doug!
Whoops. Just got another request. For another TX ring. :issues: I'm out of TX quarters though. Back to the bank Monday.
I'm guessing I won't get any requests for DC or American Somoa.

I doubt you will be getting any requests for Illinois either. We can't wait to get out of this hell hole

I was wondering how you made the first hole to get started on these.
What is the smallest size coin that you can use? :island14:

I did one a few days ago about the size of a nickel, and one last week about the size of a penny. The penny size ended up a size 3-1/2. Fit a ladies pinky. Very small.
Doubt you have a local jeweler who can measure your ring size. Women are usually 5 to 7, men 9 to 12.
Very important to anneal before and after punching the hole. And as you shape the ring too. About every 2 sizes.

I was just curious, I have a few odd coins here from around the world that I had thought of mailing to you, most of the neater ones are small and the larger ones do not have a cool edge.

I posted before rob went down that coins make excellent and cheap souvenirs of travels. The edge isn't as important as what the design is on the face near the edge. I think I have one Philippine coin in my stash. How about a Tennessee quarter - Rob's home state? When is Rob heading back?

I wasn't asking for one, Just thought a few of the coins I had might be neat for someone.
I have one from Japan I think that would be neat, but only about the size of a penny if you want it.

You could send it back with rob. Or ask him to snag some in his travels.

Vaughn hammer. :seasix: My grandma made those hammers for 30 years, and my cousin makes them still.

I have 2 Arkansas, 2 Ohio and 1 Maine. Just let me know if you need them.
And I found a 1971 Canadian quarter.
Thanks for looking. I'm good for now.
