The reveal of "The Biggest Loser" winner Rachel Frederickson came with some critics who thought the 155-pound weight loss might have been a bit too much.

The 5'5" Frederickson, a voice-over artist from Los Angeles, started the show at 260 pounds and now weighs just 105.

The winner told reporters she's happy with the change.

"I feel great," Frederickson, 24, told reporters over a conference call, US Weekly reports. "I've never felt this great, and it's very exciting!"

She continued, "Now I'm really at maintenance mode, so now it's gonna be about doing a yoga class this day, a spin class this day, and I think I'm going to try dance classes because I don't have a lot of rhythm."

She added that she's "never felt this great before" and she is going to embrace the new her.

Jillian Michaels, one of the trainers on the show, posted a statement on her Facebook page.

"Bob and I want to take a moment to congratulate all of the BL contestants on their hard work," she said. "We're not comfortable commenting on Rachel's journey because weren't her trainers and weren't given an opportunity to work with her at any point."

Frederickson's trainer, Dolvett Quince, addressed the issue on his Facebook page.

"Biggest Loser is a journey which has its ups and downs," he wrote. "Please try not to look at one slice of Rachel's journey and come to broad conclusions. Rachel's health is and always has been my main concern and her journey to good health has not yet ended!!"

Today, Chris Powell, a host and trainer on another life-changing program, "Extreme Weight Loss," gave "Good Morning America" his take on Frederickson dropping almost 60 percent of her original weight.

"She did what she set out to do," he said. "To lose as much as you can in as short a time as you can ... she's playing a game. You need to keep that in mind."

For winning the show, Frederickson got $250,000.

Powell said Frederickson's goal should be to find "that balance" in life now that she's lost all the weight.

"Most of the people we work with they come from the over-eating," he added. "It's an unhealthy relationship with food, it's so easy to switch over to the opposite end of the spectrum by under-eating."

Wonder if the loss in weight affected her voice and diction quality as a VO artist? Would love to have that gig!

There were rumors earlier this week the slim was amped up on caffeine pills as part of her aggressive weight-loss regimen.

I'm thinking she'll be back at two bills by this time next year.

:iagree: It seems the people making the negative comments fail to realize that she apparently used to be a nationally competitive swimmer, so she had an athletic build underneath all that fat...not sure what happened in her life to cause her to spin out of control and over-eat, but kudos to her for making a decision to stop and get back to a healthier weight. I only hope that she truly made healthy lifestyle changes and didn't just crash diet, so the changes stick with her the rest of her life.

I won the health lottery.

That pic is actually deceiving, because she appears healthy.
I saw the video bit from one of the many "news" outlets, and she looks sickenly thin.
I'm talking skin and bones, and to me that's not healthy.

I won't cheer a weight loss person at the point the goal has just been reached.

Too many times - the lower weight doesn't last very long; and we might discover that the initial reason for the loss attempt was no more than an attention-getter exercise.

"Look at me now, I lost all that weight"
"Look at me now, I gained it all back (and then some)"
"Look at me now, I lost all that weight again"
"Look at me now, I gained it all back (and then some)"=
"Look at me now, I lost all that weight yet again"
"Look at me now, I gained it all back (and then some)"

Any more, I wait -at least- one year before the congratulatory patt-on-the-back/handshake.
