I hear you and to be honest i think other people at the office are in the same boat.

My situation was a bit different though. I was initially hired 2 years ago in a sales support/account management role. Since then i have moved to outside sales but never got the increase in base pay to get me on par with the other outside reps. I didn't want to say anything until i proved myself seeing that the company was down about 10-15% from the previous year. And while we are seeing turn over with some sales territories, and under performers in others, i have been the number one producing rep pretty much since August/September and have some good things in the works. I also had a favorable annual review recently too so i had a few bargaining chips.

This was kinda my attitude about it all.. :D

WhitePower, you're doing this wrong.

First you need to change your screen name, I suggest TightyWhitey. Then, after awhile, post a thread titled "Anybody want to know why I changed my screen name?" and then type "Hmmmmmm?" in the OP. Text a few people here that you got a raise, and that's why you have changed your screen name because under your old screen name you made some disparaging posts about your employer.

Make sure you post that Hmmmmm thread late at night when you are three sheets to the wind, and then pass out. Wake up the next day and take great umbrage that all those mean old cranky grampas pooped all over your beautiful thread, and take your ball and go home. That will show them! Oh, and before you pass out, respond to the first person to post in your thread and tell them to eat a bag of dicks. Then pass out.

So, cliff notes, you're doing it wrong.
