I need some help testing the system for free trial subscriptions and I need unique email addresses (I've used up all of mine..).

Specifically, I'd like a bunch of you rascals to sign up for the free trial and tell me how each step goes.

Particularly what happens when the free trial expires. I have set it to a 1 day trial for this test so if you sign up today, it will expire tomorrow.

I don't know how the hell people get notified the trial is up and how it directs them to pay pal.

Don't worry - it won't cost anything. And, if you want, I'll delete your accounts after the test (or if you want, I'll give you a free subscription).

Can you guys help? All suggestions are welcome.

I was about to subscribe, but I got to the page where it not only asked for my e-mail, it asked for name, address, and all sorts of other stuff as well.

Before I go through all that, I need to know just how much bigger my penis will get if I subscribe to your website. Oh, and I just checked.....nothing yet.

Agree on the captcha - I guess if I get a lot of bots, I'll put it back on.

Gonna have to make it stand out more so it is your main call to action, IMHO. :cheers:

That is a limitation of the plug-in. I can't figure out how to have a custom button.

I put multiple buttons in for now.

Green subscribe now button on this page takes you back to the same page- not the actual new member account set up page.

That green button is confusing - I'm really changing a lot of the structure and I missed that. Will remove.

I agree the captcha is a pain, but I've had our company site attacked at least three times in the last year. The captcha at least keeps them from getting to the payment screen and jerking around with that.

I know there are better ways to combat the bots, but on a limited budget the captcha works...

TexAg - I was wrong about the custom buttons. I made some nifty new call to action buttons.

Doesn't work well on a phone for sure. That goes on the fix someday list. Most normal people use a computer. :kick:

Hmmm, that is a message generated by the system that can't be edited. I thought I turned it off.

What happens when you log in using that link? It has been giving the wrong link (which is why I turned it off.)

Link should be fixed. The other issue has me stumped for now. May have to buy a different software package. Support blows with that one.

I'll work on it tomorrow. Thank you all for testing it. I may ask you to attempt log in again at later date.

The software is open source. Which means its crap.
