Even though I'm not in the market and I would have to throw my budget out the window if I made an impulse purchase, I never stop looking.
Cool but price seems a bit high...

I had a friend back in the 70's that had a black 70 SS 454 Monte Carlo with black interior, 4 spd and SS Cragers. That car was quick.:cert:

A buddy in HS had a '71 Monte with a 350. Man we had fun in that thing too.
I'm glad I didn't go the night that he totaled it.:shots:

My first one I built up a worked 350. 12.5:1 compression, 2.02 angle plug heads ported and polished, scorpion intake with 750 Holley, balanced, blue printed I forget the cam lift but the powerband was 3800-7800 rpm.
That car surprised a lot of people :D

My first car ever was a '72 Monte. Dad and I built it with a 327, 10.5 compression, bored .30, port/polish aluminum 2.02 heads, Edelbrock torquer intake, Crane fireball cam, and full MSD ignition. It had a manual valve body TH400, and 12 bolt rear with 3.93 gears.
Man talk about surprising people. :D
I loved that car, and someday I'm going to build another one with an LSX drivetrain. :seasix:
