New Series "HELIX"

Normally I feel like syfy channel shows are shit, but this one harkens back to the days of SG1 and the days of good acting and great scripting. The special effects are really good for a 1hr cable TV show...better than any of their crap 2hr movies.

its set to be a minimum of 13 episodes this season, I hope they expand it.

Watched the first episode last week and just couldnt get into it although I will agree that from a production values standpoint it was definitely much better than most of their original material

I peeped the first three eps and I'm hooked, too. Ol' girl Jeri Ryan will appear soon. Perhaps this most ironic device of the series is the opening theme. Do You KNow the Way to San Jose by Dionne Warwick.

No way you can walk away from that hook and not end up with it stuck in your head all day. Vey fitting, since the show centers around a deadly infectious virus.
