Leinenkugel's is made in my home town of Chippewa Falls, WI. I took the tour this weekend, and they said they were bringing back Limited. They haven't made this stuff in over 15 years, and I was pretty surprised to see it sitting on the shelf here in BFE, IA.

My understanding is that's it's very similar to Northwoods Lager also made by Leinenkugel's. I haven't had that in some time, but it does taste similar. It's a good golden lager at a good price.

What beer are you all enjoying this evening?:beer::cheers:

Miller Lite at the moment. Had a big old Heineken Oil Can with dinner, but the beer you describes sounds delish!

I can find most of it in stores around here, but there are a few that are only released in WI (Leine's Light is one of them). I usually pick it up for anyone who asks.

I'm drinking a Mango Orange Belgian that a friend of mine brewed. Quite nice.

When I was commuting between IL and MN, I was often tasked with bringing back Leinies on Fridays. Pretty much sold at every gas station in WI
