Right before they started offering a line-in option. I still use the multi-cd on my 2006 Mazda because of this.

It's a little late to mention this but I had an Acura that would jam up all the time. However, if you slide a credit card under the magazine, it would break the jam loose.

You couldn't just power it up temporarily and hit the eject button 5 times?

No magazine, you feed it in a slot and it has an internal magazine. And Sea Six, it wouldn't eject at the end of its life. She said occasionally it would start working again, but at the end it quit even making noises when you pressed the eject button.

Different kind then. Yeah, I like taking stuff apart just to see what's inside too.

A special bank account called a certificate of deposit where you give the bank money and they get to use it and give you no interest!

I suppose you don't know what an 8-track or a 4-track is either! Youngsters!

Being born in '44, and being a geek since '56 or less, I can write the book on automotive sound, the Records/8 track/cassetts/ CD/ etc.....

today, I just plain don't CARE, I have two speakers in the back deck of my '72 vert....with nothing hooked up for many years now.....

I know. She will be playing Pandora and music loaded on her phone now. I doubt CD's will even factor in. The new unit does have a CD player, but it's not a changer. It also takes USB sticks loaded with MP3's.
