I'm confused...

Mansory is a real company that makes hideous tuning parts for ultra-highline motorcars; Bentley, Rolls, Aston, Lambo, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz, etc... but they don't build replicas of anything, as they prefer to ruin the real thing.

Sounds like these guys are selling replicas under the Mansory name, but are actually the scammers known as Supereplicas?

Seems legit.

I'm not sure you can buy a 6 liter twin turbo v12 from BMW for the price they are claiming you can purchase the car.

I'll just point out that each and every single time the name S**ervettes is mentioned on this forum, it helps the company out by giving them a boost in their Google searches.

Maybe we should adopt a sobriquet to use instead of their proper name.

I suggest StupidVettes.

Just a thought.

Think about it for a second.

You're Googling this bodykit company you just heard about, and you end up here and start reading...

I want us to be the top search result.

:funnier:

That was actually part of the drive of that original 700+ post thread that got moved Behind The Barn.

I still think we're helping them out though. Folks searching on "Corvette body kits" will be seeing Stupidvettes appearing higher up in their Google listing, and partially due to our help. I think overall it's a negative.

Yeah, I kid, but already in a couple posts I've been referring to them as the "LLC guys"...

Mansory is Going to Release an Original Car | Complex (http://www.complex.com/rides/2013/12/mansory-is-going-to-release-an-original-car)

Mansory, the company best known for taking our favorite exotic cars and turning them into clown-like parodies of themselves, is done playing about with cadavers and jarred brains and is ready to go full Dr. Frankenstein. That's right, an all original Mansory car is being designed, is to see production, and will be called "Mourinho."

It's going to be a 750 hp carbon fiber supercar that draws upon the knowledge of its backers, Chelsea F.C. coach Jose Mourinho and Russian wealthy extravagance club Raff House. Mourinho, for whom it is named, says it should be "perfect comfort and class" that combines "the best of Ferrari and Aston Martin."

Given the tuner's track record, it will also look like it crashed through a superglue storage facility, and then an inexplicably upscale Pep Boys. We just really hope it's more like the Black Diamond than anything else that company has done.

I believe it was pointed out in the original call-out thread that Stupidvettes was selling cologne and ink printer cartridges on eBay.

Hey! Sometimes, a guy just wants to smell nice while printing copies of internet pictures of the awesome body kit he will be shipped any day now, that he prepaid for 8 months ago. You got a problem with that?

I'm all for the free market, sure.

If some asshole wants to push people away to their competitors because they can't make sound, rational business decisions, leading to their eventual just deserts, well, I'm just peachy-keen about that.
