Very  feature to have from the factory.

On the flip side, it's just a matter of time before junior takes dad's car for a spin, runs out to play Fast n Furious and posts it to YT.

that would be cool.

The data monitoring is already there; the camera is what'll be new.

My question; how much will GM ask to option-in a camera for this... $1500 ?????????? (should be more like $200)

So is your insurance company.

Be sure to get that track day insurance.

I see a bunch of voided warranty claims coming too.

I give it a month in production before you see the first video of a guy hitting a track barrier at 100 + mph.

Sport mode would be great for proving you were in the right during a traffic accident.

I resent that. You don't have to be rich to be stupid. :datawiz:

... I don't see why it would be any more or less likely than the current cars though.

Almost everybody I know has a camera of some sort in their car on a track as-is. People who track them now will continue to. People who didn't won't. I really don't see this making any difference whatsoever other than saving the track guys from finding a way to mount a go-pro or an iPhone.
