Would you like to see more individual freedom and less government in this country?

I'm in line with libertarian philosiphy for the most part, and moreso than either of the two major political parties, but I prefer my votes to matter so I'm registered and vote Republican.

Republican --> Libertarian --> Republican --> Independent.

I'm staying pat for good now. Neither effectively advances my beliefs. They get my votes, but not my cash or membership.

I often vote for Libertarian candidates and have for many years. But just like either of the other parties, some of the candidates can be a bit too extreme.

What I'd like to see is people who know the proper forum section to post in. OT is for parody threads and stuff.

I agree with many of their beliefs on individual liberties but I strongly disagree with their beliefs in deregulating businesses. Deregulation was a major factor in this recession.

Most self proclaimed libertarians I have met also carry hard right social views which I have no time for.

Which is totally antithetical to a libertarian stance.

Count me in as one of the insane who believes in less government and more personal freedom.

:iagree: However, I'm of the opinion that if the .Gov is handing out cash we should be able to relocate your ass somewhere else. N. Dakota, Nebraska, and Utah need people-Let's even it out a bit.

Depends on what a Libertarian is... is ...

I mean you have Paulie Sr. who believes if you attack conventional wisdom the U.S. was built on then that means Paulie Jr. has the right to stomp your head into the ground because you disagree that the Debt Ceiling need not be raised so to collpase the Global economy so we can start over with what the Paulies tell you what the Founding Fathers *really meant* ....
