I wish I had the right temperament and talent set for classic car ownership. The mid year cars are awesome, no matter what they are doing.

I've owned and restored a lot of old cars, including two midyears. I think you have to get some enjoyment out of turning a wrench, problem solving or trying to improve on things. I enjoyed working on them just as much as driving them.

I don't like working on cars. I am also not kind to my equipment. I love the way older cars look, sound, and lack any of the electronic crap that dies on modern cars that makes me bonkers with CEL's.
Whenever I see someone tooling around in a classic on always stoked that they rescued it before someone like me got ahold of it.

I beat my Vette every time I drive it. It's like it.
I like wrenching it though, so it's ok.:D

I have a feeling that is on a truck chassis, so it's neither a Corvette nor a Sting Ray.

What's the vice of a Vice Admiral?
The rear of a Rear Admiral.
