Been about 3.5 weeks since her accident, getting around really good now , upgraded from a walker to the cane yesterday. Been a long month though. Came across these pictures of the accident from the responding unit - Everyday I am thankful it wasn't more severe, and it wasn't on the passenger side where our little one would be sitting, or our oldest wasn't in the car

Seeing that truck, that I assume is the one that hit her, in the background is just flat out scary. Glad she's doing better.

Is she going to do her physical therapy at GVH Sports Medicine? That's where I'm doing my shoulder rehab, good folks there :yesnod:

Glad to hear she is recovering, the pictures tell quite a story including just how safe modern vehicles are with airbags, crumple zones, etc

She is probably 3 weeks out at minimum from any PT, have a follow-up mid-Jan to see how the pelvic fractures are healing. We've been going to St. Luke's, I don't know if Grand View is affiliated with them or not.

You get to pick who you want for PT. Although I can attest to the great work the folks at Sport Medicine do ( both my shoulder and with my left ACL reconstruction ), pick who she feels comfortable with. :yesnod:
