I hope that whoever took that picture (husband, boy friend, detached spectator) had the decency to stop her before she pulled the trigger.
I'm sure it isn't loaded. The photographer just wanted to get her to arch her back for him

Too many idiots think it's funny to fail to educate and then film it as someone gets hurt...

:iagree: Perhaps they would like to "talk" to the steel butt plate on my M1 Garand :cuss:

When we were at Cabela's in Texas, my wife decided to check out the rifles. She is left handed and she proceeded to pick one up and held it pretty well while looking through the scope with her right eye. We have some work to do.

My 91/30 is pretty damn bad. Why anyone thought a steel butt plate was a good idea is beyond me.

You can do that shooting handguns but not so much with a rifle. :seasix:

Stock design has a lot ot do with perceived / felt recoil. It's no problem to shoot a 50 round match with the M1 garand ( .30-06 ) but a few shots out of a '03 Springfield and I'm done ( and I like things that go BANG! )

I am predominantly right handed, but left eyed. I shoot a rifle left handed, ambidextrous with handguns.

Left eye dominant , started shooting long guns left handed. Switched to right handed when I started aquiring bolt action rifles. I can equally well either hand. :D
That became a slight "problem" at the gunclub informal shoots when shooting "weak side"

Same here. That is why I went to an O/U shotgun for bird hunting

Thanks, but I like my Browning Citori :seasix:
Have a couple of other shotguns (semi and pump) but I like the browning for getting a second shot off at a bird w/ o a shell flying across my line of sight. My Bennelli Nova is for things that go bump in the night. Don't need to be focused so far out for that:seasix:

Bottom eject means it doesn't get in your sight plane. The spent shell goes straight down. :seasix:
