No kidding. About 13 years ago my wife and I spent 11 days in Key West. The first 7 days there was a large group of people with us, about 25 or so, that one lady organized. Some were from Joplin (like us) but most were from Kansas City. We stayed at Sunset Key (a small island just off Key West) and after that week was up my wife and I moved to a nice B&B.

Most of the people left on day 7 except for a few others, and us of course. Among those that still had one more day left was a gay couple, and while eating breakfast with them one of them brought up that they had an OK time but were kinda constrained by the majority and didn't get to go check out all the gay haunts like they usually do, because they thought some of us would find it interesting. Well, I said if they wanted to go to some places my wife and I would go with them. So off we went, they were pretty happy about it.

First place we go, one of the guys takes my wife upstairs, I start to follow, and the other guy says "No, you need to check this bar out downstairs." I walk into the very dark bar (it's bright and sunny outside, pitch black in there by comparison) and it takes a minute for my eyes to adjust. When they do, I first notice small TV's playing gay hardcore porn at each booth. Then I see people sitting in the booths doing various things. But the real reason he wanted me to come into the bar was to check out the bathroom. You see, every bathroom I'd been to on Duval street was disgusting. However, this was the nicest bathroom I'd seen at any bar, even had flowers on the toilet tank. :lol:

We went upstairs and watched a burlesque show with female impersonators, that was pretty fun actually. We went to a few more bars and finally I had to beg out when we walked into yet another bar and a naked dude was dancing on a table full of guys. Said "You two have fun, I'm tapping out." They were :rofl:
