I shot some other footage befor the sun went down. They call the hour at sunrise and sundown "the magic hour" because the quality of light is amazing. The sun is at a low angle so the atmosphere filters out much of the blue and green spectrum giving you that amber light.

Ranger just looked magnificent in that warm light. The challenge is that the light only lasts a short time - they should call it the magic 40 minutes.

When we go to Canada fishing, I like taking sunset pictures. The last two or three minutes are the best and it's amazing how fast the sun drops off the horizon.
