Veteran TV director Aaron Taylor (Sopranos, Mad Men, Game Of Thrones) has cast Emilia Clarke (Game Of Thrones) to portray Sarah Connor in Terminator: Genesis, the franchise's reboot.

The actress joins Arnold Schwarzenegger and Zero Dark Thirty's Jason Clarke (no relation), who will be playing a grown John Connor.

Terminator: Genesis is slated for release July 15th, 2015.

Is Arnold going to narrarating? I cant imagine he is going ot be acting..not even with modern CGI technology.

It hasn't been revealed how Arnold will be utilized. Speculation is running in a few different directions, from Arnold voicing a Terminator: Salvation-esque CGI-head-on-younger-actors-body, to Arnold playing the actual human Skynet uses as the model for the T-800's visage.

What is the storyline in this one?

It's believed to be a reboot, and is intended to be the first film in a trilogy arc.

We know it will feature Sarah Connor, a grown John Connor and at least one Terminator. Other than that, little is known, much is speculated.

Total Recall, Robocop, and now Terminator.

Lets just bastardize and ruin EVERYTHING that is good.

You can't improve Terminator or Terminator 2. They're classics. Terminator is a 5 Star Sci-Fi/Horror film and 2 is a 5 Star Sci-Fi/Action film. You can only go downhill with stupid re-boots.

Sorry but way too soft to play Sarah Connor.

If you've been watching "Game of Thrones," her character transitioned from a meek, arranged-marriage bride to a clever, astute leader at the head of an army.

I don't think she'll have any difficulty with the Sarah Connor role.
